I have an authenticator and I absolutely love it! Only difference though is that I bought mine from Amazon.com for about 20 bucks, since Blizz was all sold out of them when I tried to buy one from them. I rely on my authenticator every time I login to WoW. It's saved me a ton of grief. I've been hacked at least twice in the past, so I know the pain. Ever since linking my account to my authenticator, though, I have had 0 problems! The only thing is that I wish the authenticator would have a backlit LCD display. It's very hard to read the numbers in low lighting situations. Perhaps Blizzard will put out a newer model with backlighting in the near future.

I actually had someone I knew get his account ravaged by whoever the hell knows, Like you said, they ravaged his account, guild bank, other toons... It was a hard time for him but thankfully a GM came and fixed the situation.

This device is exceedingly useful is so many ways, thanks for the share.

Only downside i've seen was a friend who got hacked and the hackers put an authenticator to this account for them lawls.

I got my account hacked recently. I retrieved it and everything was ok.
But few weeks ago I got hacked again, but this time hacker had added Authenticator to account.

How can I get account back?

I tried contacting blizzard with all information, but they just changed my password and sent me satisfaction survey.
I was NOT satisfied.

Well... same thing happened to me awhile ago. One of my accounts was hacked and an authenticator was added to the account. I used the webform to contact blizzard but I forgot the current email acc by battle.net account was registered was banned from sending emails... tough luck right? Stupid Windows Live automated anti-spam thing... But I called blizzard and waited those minutes you wait to actually get ahold of someone and all I had to do was confirm my SQ/A and acc name and told him my situation and he changed my email and removed the authenticator.

I'm sure not all cases work out the same way, but that's what happened to me. :P

THanks btw do you know any cheap ways to call them? Im from Slovenia and calling Blizz would cost me more than 1$/min

As for the calling Blizzard without spending like a billion dollars I would go buy a Magic Jack. I know it sounds retarded but we have a family member who moved to China and what we did is got him a Magic Jack that has a local number here (Michigan) and we shipped it to him. The number we call for him is local but it rings in china because it's VOIP. I would suggest just getting any number from the US if you get one and you can just pay 20 dollars a year to call anyone you want in the US.
