Ok. I'm sorry about this, but my intention was not, "Hey, let's scam the most smartest people in the world."
If a person is dumb enough to put their info into a phisher, they are more than likely dumb enough to not know what to do.
Sumo Stan: It won't ban your whole battle.net Account.
And to EgGs: Unless you're on my side,
I do not see any "I didn't authorize this." in any of those emails. So I don't know why people keep saying that.
And to all the people who keep saying I can't transfer for 30 days:
If two accounts are on the SAME Battle.NET account, You can transfer between those two accounts. You CANNOT, however, transfer OFF the battle.net account.
Third of all, people will freak out. The first thing they will notice is their account name has been "merged." and they cannot log in anymore. Second, they will check their email and get those two emails above (I even posted a screenshot saying the merge is FINAL, why would Blizzard put that on there if you can easily reverse it in your email?). Third, they will try to retrieve their password and/or change their email. They have to put in YOUR first and last name on the Battle.Net account, AND your own secret question. This is what I meant by "Change last name, first name, etc."
I acknowledge the fact that you probably can call Blizzard to undo this.
Here is my solution:
Have a credit card and transfer the character off the account. After you do that, ban the account and call Blizzard yourself to take that account off your Battle.Net account, saying that since it's banned there's no use of it being on there. There you go, clean and simple.
