[GOLD] Simple, Effective, Around 10 Grand an hour

Requirements
-A WoW Account – Any account you don’t need, as it will probably end up banned. (Can be scammed account, blank account, main account – Your Choice really)

Method
1)Go to an account selling forum (such as MD or buysellmmo) and look for people selling account. When you find one, get into conversation with them. Preferably someone who isn’t too secure with their account.
2)Talk to them for a few minutes, sounding like a serious, mature buyer who is interested in making a purchase. Create a new character on the server their main is on.
3)After showing them you’re interest in the account, settle on a price (Optional). Before the ‘sale’ (which will never occur), ask them to log onto the account to check that it is what you want and that everything is there. They will USUALLY say yes.
4)The aim now is to completely strip the account of everything and send yourself the money. Go to a capital city and find their bank. Empty their bank (and Guild Bank if you have access), take off all of their gear, and vendor EVERYTHING possible. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes if they’re camped in a capital city or their hearth is at Shattrath. It’s easy to stall them for 10-15 minute anyway. You can simply tell them you are checking the gear/professions/bank, or politely ask to try take on a few mobs or do a Battleground to test the account.
5)Send all the gold to the character you created (yes I know it’s traceable, that’s why it’s a spare account)
6)Now obviously they’re going to report to blizzard that they were ‘hacked’ and their gold was taken. Then they’ll trace the gold to you! So what do we do to buy us some time? DELETE the character (Your Victims). This’ll stall him as he tries to get his character back, and should buy you at least a day.
7)Repeat with someone else.
Once you’re tired of repeating it, go and sell the gold online (or keep it using some money laundering techniques). You can either sell it on a place like MMOwned or MarkeeDragon OR you can find one of the gold farming sites to supply to.
9)That’s pretty much the end, but I’m thinking that since you’re account’s going to get banned anyway; you might as well make the best of it. Go do Backspace Scams and Spectral Tiger scams as much as you want. If you think you have enough time, try some COD scams. Make as much money as you can before you get banned.

The Profit:

The gold price is currently $20 ++ ~~
I’ll do the following maths using the $20 mark.

Lets say it’ll take a maximum of 10 minutes to clear each account.
You can talk to like 5-10 people at once, so it shouldn’t be a problem to get more. You should be able to start work on another account as soon as soon as you’re done on the previous one.

If you can do this right, and talk to 3 people at once, you should easily get 5 people per hour.
Each account should have AT LEAST 500g on it once you’ve sold everything. Most of the time accounts that are for sale will have a fair bit saved up to increase the value on their account. Minimum of 500, but usually 1000 or 2000, with sometimes numbers like 5000-8000.

So say 5 people an hour at 1000g per person and $20 per 1000g.
That’s $100 in an hour.
A fair bit of profit.

Of course, it’s easily possible to get 8-10 people an hour, and I’ll estimate an actual average of 1500g per account, with you selling the gold at $35 per 1k gold. (well these are more sensible figures, the previous one was pretty much the minimum figures if you do it right).

So say 8 x 1.5 x$ 35 = $420.
Take off the cost of the blank account and you get about $400.

So that’s potentially 12k gold or $400 an hour. (Plus some extra from extra scamming you do on the would be banned account).

Extra Advice:
-Do this on a weekend so you get extra time before your victim can contact blizzard and recall their character.
-Don’t waste time talking to them, get straight to the point. I know lots of people say ‘act friendly, talk normally to make them feel comfortable’, but that’s mainly to convince them you’re trustworthy enough for them to go first in the trade/sale. With this scam, that’s useless, you just need to be able to log onto the account as soon as possible, not waste time talking.

Also you can sell to random people for $20, as it's probably cheaper than the companies.

Anyway, for everyone who says it's common sense etc - you're right. Stripping an account you have access to for profit is soooo obvious.
But I doubt anyone thought of it as a primary way of scamming - get yourself access in a few minutes, rob them, sell, repeat. Nor did anyone realise the 'potential' for profit (maybe a few people did - gratz if you did).

Note: you can also do this to phished accounts you only have user and pass to.
Since you can't really do anything else with it, and it'll get recalled as soon as pass is changed.
