There is a site called Markeedragon[.]com as most of you know.
I highly HIGHLY recommend not scamming those forums any more hence there is a scam busting team that call themselves : "The jackals"
If they catch you scamming or even if it looks REMOTELY like a scam they will do very bad things. They are several men who stay at home and want nothing more to ruin peoples lives.
The user in particular i came into contact with was Kathunx and hes basically just he "middle man" But what they do to you is HIGHLY illegal
EX. Find your True identity, ( if they find someone else on your IP and they think its you they well just do it to that person)
They spam your family and friends Ex. email, phone, IM. Making up fake shit about the person they think you are..
That is only phase one. Phase 2/3 im not sure in what order but they end up leeching from your bank account /
Contacting paypal and making you owe thousands of dollars if you dont give back exactly what you stole including a Web cammed apology..
Dont scam any moderator on that cite or any well know repped user.. I learned the hard way and im just giving you guys a heads up

Btw these guys are hackers as well not just a couple of bored people..

if your scamming properly you shouldnt even let them get your info, IP hiders, Fake info everywhere is common sense with scamming, Sure putting your real info everywhere will get your hacked sooner or later, about 4-5 years ago i made the mistake of putting my real e-mail down on a site and i scammed a guy out of his diablo 2 account, he didnt/couldnt get my real info however ( and i dont know how long it took the guy) he signed up to every porn,health,viagra absolutly any site he registerd my e-mail and signed up for the weekly newsletter, in the end i had to ditch the e-mail and it had some important crap on it.

First of all,nobody can trace u down if u`re using a proxy(every scammer has 1),secondly even if they do trace u .. what can they do if they know u`re isp?

This actually made me laugh.

MD.com actually states themselves that they dont ban scammers, because they know they will change their ip (proxy) and come back with different IP and info.

I love how i try to warn people and they practically disregard everything and insult me.. Hah Yes i did use a proxy as well as an alter identity, No i have no information available to any one. No paypal under my name. No myspace. Nothing.. They basically bypass your IP hider/changer and go straight to the source as i said what they do is highly illegal.. Proxies arent as great as you think, To mediocre scam busters they are but these guys know what they are doing, and btw no i am not the one that got hit but i was involved in the spam and the whole ordeal .

okay, lets be hypothetical here.

say they 'find me' using my ip address. they are not going to travel all the way out to where i live to go all rocky on me. it would be expensive, and they would be uncertain as to whether they could find, i could be on vacation. they wouldnt risk it, and they would get the cops on them if they did via me calling them.

say they get my email and IP. how would they get my families emails? they dont have my email password, they can't get into that. as long as I have a firewall (and common sense to not accept files from strangers, or open wierd emails), they can't send a keylogger, remote in, anything.

even in this hypothetical where they found my email, or they found my ip. the worst thing they can do is sign me up for porn and stuff like Sigoth mentioned.

They are just trying to scare people, and for the fools like you, it seams to be working.
