I kinda do it your way but i just bring a razor blade to the store. I pick up the wow box and pretending im reading when im secretly cutting a small area out of the back of the box an i just slip out the card. Ive dont this with a lot of shit like xbox live cards too. wish it worked with virgin mobile cards lol.

I've been stealing from Target / Walmart for quite some time now. Never got caught yet. Another good place to take stuff is near the shoe aisles (At least in Walmart), normally you can act as though you're looking at a shoe, stick the game box beside the shoe box and have enough time to get to the CD with the key and rip it off and/or take the Gamecard.

Also with gamecards I usually just open the main side where it opens and one corner, then hold it open and move it back and fourth until the gamecard slides out.
