I have an account which has all payment methods but gamecards banned, which means I can play on it by adding gametime through gamecards but I can't use namechange or pct. I have tried getting it removed it saying it was hacked but in vein, despite it that they still require the following:
* Scanned creditcards of all CC's used to pay on the account
* Scanned ID-card of the owners of said creditcards
* Letter allowing me to use said creditcards
Seeing as they wont remove the creditcard payment ban despite telling them I was hacked, is there any chance at all to get it removed? It used to be my original account but I have had guildies and friends pay a month for me quite a few times and getting all of that info simply isn't possible.

Hello, I would first like to say, as many others have said, that your guide is extremely beneficial and I'm pretty sure it's unique to its kind (as I've done a lot of searching around the net for something similar to this). I would also like to say that this is my first post on this website. I'm probably marked as a leecher or whatever, mainly because I registered this account here a while back to get access to some sort of guide about setting up a private server. Anyways, none of that matters now.
The problem i'm having at the moment is not one associated to getting myself unbanned. Rather, it's to avoid being banned at all and to keep my account. Here goes...
A few days ago I bought an account from a friend of a friend. After seeing two 70's with complete T6 / season gear / nether drakes / epic / whatever in-game and chatting in ventrilo for about an hour, I decided to give it a go. I paid the man $400 thru paypal. I then proceeded to chat with them some more in ventrilo, and I got an email from the guy with the account first name, last name, phone #, password, and SQA. Since then I have changed the password and have been logging on to the account.
Except the problem is, I can't get the email changed to a new one. When the transaction was first completed, the seller said that he put in the application to change the email. He is repeatedly insisting that he has received no email notification from blizzard. At first I assumed this was because blizzard billing wasn't open on the weekends and this past monday was a holiday (columbus day), and that they just didn't receive the change email app within the 72 hour time frame (because the transaction took place on a friday). So, yesterday I send in another application, but have heard nothing yet.
I read in your guide that I could possibly get the email changed by calling blizzard billing. But I am understandably skeptical about this because what if the seller has been purposely denying the change email notifications? Is there a way blizzard would know about this? I assumed that blizzard would know if an email account is truly inactive because they are able to send emails to it. And from what i've read in the guide, you tell blizzard billing that the old email is inactive to get it changed.
I have also thought about (and came to the best conclusion) that I should transfer the characters to a new account with the same last name. But I have recently moved between states, and have only just set up a new bank account, and don't have a credit card yet! I am supposed to be getting one soon, but who knows how long that could take? I have researched other possible solutions to this such as buying a visa gift card and using that to transfer the characters. Alas, I would have to put in around $100 to get all the characters moved to the new account (with levels ranging from 60-70), not to mention the cost of making a new account and putting a game card on it.
So all in all I would have to pay about $600 total just to keep the characters using that method. I need some advice, if you don't mind. And sorry for the long read!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.
You're overreacting. Just call them up, say you're having trouble changing your email, and they'll help you out. If they ask specifically what's wrong, say that you're not getting the confirmation email to change it, and that's the truth.
As long as you have the account's first name, last name, and SQA, then you're fine.

Thanks for your help. I got the email changed no problem by talking to the customer support representative. We even had a nice chat about Wotlk. Sorry for overreacting, but this is kind of a large investment for a game.

I got permanent banned for using obscene language. I had received a 72 hour suspension for trading accounts earlier, but was the permanent suspension warranted? I never scammed or hacked on the account in any way. This account was originally my account aswell.

Yes, it was warranted. Profanity is not allowed.

Forgive me if this has already been brought up but...2 requirements. If the file is ..., then you're royally screwed, as this one asks for a notary. A notary is essentially a person who ensures that the ID you give them is, in fact, the person standing in front of them. Meaning, fake ID won't work. And trying to trick a notary will most likely land you with a fine and very possibly in prison. So, if the form you get ends in -Notary and if it asks for a notary, then you must either get the original owner of the account (the one with the first and last name on the account) to get some ID and go to a notary himself, or just give up on the account entirely.
I believe this is incorrect, this is used by blizzard to update an account with compromised security, rather than check to make sure that the info is correct. so in theory you can have an account changed to what ever name you want as long as you have the ID and its notarized. This happened to me, between my brother and i, we have 3 total accounts that were locked and i had all the account changed to my name and my e-mail.
Ok, for US:
If your account is compromised and gets locked, you will either get a normal lock form, OR a lock form with a notary. It is up to them. However, if an account is compromised, you cannot "update" any of its information but the address really, and they never look at that anyway. The form asks for "updated contact information." This does not mean you can put a new name on it; it needs to have your current information. By updated it just means "current."
You refer to a form that updates an account's info when it is comprompised. In fact, as far as I am aware, no such form exists for US. You may be a bit confused, or you may be misremembering something.
If you want to retrieve your SQA or otherwise do anything with this form: Blizzard Support, then a notary is never required. The linked form is called a ToU form.
If you want to change the first and/or last name on the account, you must fill out the ToU form and select "update account holder's name." To do that, you must send in an old ID, the current ID with the new name, and either divorce papers, or judge-issued name change papers.
Hope this clears things up.

Thanks for updating the guide.
First time i found a thread about a guide to Blizzard's Policy.
+2REP
Yep. It's the only one I've found too.
In fact, the whole reason why I decided to become "The WoW Lawyer" is because there didn't appear to be one single person on all of MMOwned who specifically showed an expertise in Blizzard hierarchy and methods. I was quite surprised, considering most of the site is based entirely around hacking, exploiting, model editing, private servers, and scamming, and considering it's also the biggest site in the world of its type.

If you find a way to bug a quest to let you do the same quest many times in one day (lets say 50 times) will warden detect it??? I am not using any third party programs, Please answer... Ty![]()
No, but it is very possible that if Blizzard finds out about the exploit, they could simply check the logs of all people who did the quest and ban all the people who, you know, did it a billion times.
It's not Warden-related. Chances are you'll eventually get caught though.
