Medivh's death is unique in that it has been experienced by players in at least three different ways. In the original Warcraft game, the player had to enter his lair and slay him. His lair was filled with summoned and cave beings: Skeletons, scorpions, fire elementals and daemons. Lothar, Khadgar, and Garona are all absent. Medivh's death was clearly described in The Last Guardian, where it is clearly established that he was slain by the three listed above - with Khadgar wielding the blade that was run through Medivh's heart (and Lothar then decapitating him). Finally, in the interlude The Last Guardian in the Eternity's End campaign in Warcraft III, Medivh is shown in a flashback being killed by human footmen. Though the captain figure in the scene could be Lothar, Khadgar and Garona are nowhere to be seen.

Of course, this wasn't the end of Medivh. Exactly what happened to him after the events of the Battle of Mount Hyjal are unknown, though it is presumed that he died or otherwise left the material plane. More recently, a black raven can be seen endlessly circling Karazhan, leading some to suggest that the Last Guardian may linger on in some form; his fate remains unknown.

A Spirit Healer is a holy angel that only exists in a place within the Twisting Nether where spirits exist, usually encountered at a graveyard after death.

    Re: Ask Lore Questions Here

    Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!

    No?
    Fine.

Murloc history first and foremost is mostly unknown since most of their own oral tradition is the repetition of unpronounceable forefathers. This renders it completely useless to most people as the murloc language has yet to be deciphered (however, murlocs also speak Nerglish, a language shared by the makrura, and the Murloc Sorcerer and Thrall could speak the same Common language). What is known of murlocs comes from the accounts of the learned people of the world observing these curious creatures.

What's been known up until now about the fish-men is the following: they are not the most intelligent creatures. They congregate on shorelines in tribes and villages. They have been known, in certain instances, to worship enigmatic sea-deities (sometimes including naga). And they seem to care little for the mortal races.

Though known to the night elves on Kalimdor for some time, the murlocs are relatively new to the eastern continents of Lordaeron and Azeroth. It is purported that murlocs are actually a very ancient race of the world, at least as old as the first Naga since the serpentine creatures enslaved a group of deep sea-dwelling murlocs known as the Mur'gul. These creatures have steadily been moving inland from their oceanic dwelling places, even adapting to fresh-water lakes and rivers in order to populate areas they would not normally be found in. Though they continue to inhabit more areas of Lordaeron and Azeroth, their supposed intelligence is debatable due to the fact that their guttural language is impossibly difficult to decipher. However, their use of weaponry and uncanny fighting abilities imply a rather sinister racial intellect.

In recent times, the murlocs became unwittingly responsible for the shape of the present-day Horde. Murloc attacks on the Darkspear Tribe caused the Orcish Warchief, Thrall, and his warriors to first drive them off, and then subsequently form a alliance between the two tribes which lasts to this day, and formed the core of the modern day Horde, which the Tauren and then Forsaken were later to join and so as well the Blood Elves.

Where did Nightbane come from? I've always wondered why there was a fire version of Sapphiron in Karazhan. Please answer with due haste.

He is a fiery skeletal dragon, transformed by Medivh from Arcanagos and formerly of the Blue Dragonflight.

Arcanagos was a powerful Blue Dragon sent by Malygos to Karazhan back during/prior to the First War to warn Medivh and the surrounding village that something dark and sinister was happening in the area of the tower. Arcanagos pleaded with Medivh to abandon the tower before the situation escalated out of control. When Medivh refused to leave his residence, the Blue Dragon attempted to remove him by force. The two masters of the arcane fought briefly, trading blows, but the blue wyrm met his match in the corrupted Titan-imbued Guardian of Tirisfal. Burning from a horrific spell from the inside out, Arcanagos frantically flew off and crashed into the mountains of Deadwind Pass, dying a painful death, his bones shattering and falling down to scatter the surrounding area.

The spell Medivh used against the dragon imparted some of his own essence into Arcanagos. In order to divine information about Medivh, the Violet Eye has adventurers resurrect the dead dragon in order extract the arcane essence. Arcanagos appears, now as a fiery skeletal monstrosity known as Nightbane, and proceeds to attack those who summon him.

    The encounter with Medivh-

Medivh: "You've got my attention, dragon. You'll find I'm not as easily scared as the villagers below."

Arcanagos: "Your dabbling in the arcane has gone too far Medivh. You've attracted the attention of powers beyond your understanding. You must leave Karazhan at once!"

Medivh: "You dare challenge me at my own dwelling? You're arrogance is astounding, even for a dragon."

Arcanagos: "A dark power seeks to use you, Medivh! If you stay, dire days will follow. You must hurry, we don't have much time!"

Medivh: "I do not know what you speak of dragon... but I will not be bullied by this display of insolence. Ill leave Karazhan when it suits me!"

Arcanagos: "You leave me no alternative. I will stop you by force if you wont listen to reason."

Arcanagos glows with a blue aura as Medivh casts a pyroblast that reflects off the dragon. Injured, Medivh stands back to his feet.

Medivh begins to cast a spell, weaving his own essence into the magic

    Arcanagos begins to glow red

Arcanagos: "What have you done, wizard? This cannot be! I'm burning from... within!"

Arcanagos flies off into the distance aflame

Medivh: "He should not have angered me. I must go... recover my strength now..."

    About Medivh.
Medivh was resurected by Aegwynn, his mother.
He was sent back to the world to put things right.
To make sure that there was a future.

Then he returned to the dead, to the legends of the past.
    He was like an ghost.
Aegwynn still lives in Theramore. Its rumored that she is the Night Elf namned Pained there.
The "Ex" in my name doesnt mean sex...
It means exploration and exploit :Sylvia:

Arthas entered the hollow glacier and beheld a winding pinnacle chained to the ice. As he strode up the stairs towards his destiny, the voices of those he had forsaken flooded through his mind. He heard Muradin Bronzebeard, Uther, and Jaina calling out to him, yet he ignored them, continuing his ascent. Finally, he reached the pinnacle and before him he saw an icy cask. Inside was a suit of armour, arranged as if seated on a massive throne. Now only one voice spoke to him - the rasping whisper of Ner’zhul:

Return the blade... complete the circle... release me from this prison!

With a great cry of strength, Arthas brought Frostmourne to bear against the Lich King's icy prison and with a haunting scream, the Frozen Throne exploded, and shards of the crystal scattered on the ground. With Ner’zhul’s thorny helm at his feet, Arthas leaned forward, picked it up, and placed the unimaginably powerful artifact on his head.

"Now," Ner'zhul's voice echoed within his mind, "we are one!"

In that moment, Ner'zhul and Arthas' spirits fused into a single mighty being, just as the Lich King had always planned. Arthas as a single being ceased to exist, now one half of one of the most powerful entities Azeroth had ever known.

With that, the outer wall of Icecrown fell away, and only the single pinnacle remained. The Lich King sat silently upon the shattered throne, stared out across his new kingdom, still as a statue, and waited...
