wow has 4 gigs on your computer it doesnt need - read this!

anyways.... when u install wow and bc they stick an extra 4 gigabites on your computer that you dont need anymore scince the update in 01/01/07... this is vert important so read the whole thing!!! dont skip!!!
under program files you find 4 folders for wow, unless your computer has already deleted 2 and you only see 2 folders for wow then you dont need to read this... anyways 2 of those 4 folders say wow en_us installer and bc en_us installer ( or sumthing like that )... those are the installer folders for wow and bc and you only needed them when first installing but wow doesnt delete them off your comp so u can delete those 2 folders, nothing will happen to your game play youll just free up 4 gigabites from your computer which can allow quicker downloads more downloads less lag and quicker page refreshing and quicker comp overall when you free up gigabites... my hardrive was full and i couldnt download the new patch so im glad i found out how to free up THAT much space!

    thankyou

It won't affect lag, lag depends on your internet connection. It won't affect page refreshing or downloading either. Quicker comp overall? Yes in some cases.
Also I'd like to add: please use punctuation and correct capitalization, it would make your text actually readable.

    agreed with makeman
RAM affects internet speed and so does service provider
    Hard Drive stores all files
The installers are on the hard drive and when deleted only opens bigger space on PC and allows a bit more speed on your PC
it would not affect your internet speed

I have a 250gig HDD so it doesnt really matter for me but i guess if you were operating on 100gig or lower it may affect speeds of things

and from the looks of it you use firefox, and it is very fast and efective for me (compared to IE7) and i have really low RAM

80% of people reading this post wont even have the 2 folders. Wow Deletes them after use unless your comp sucks ass.

i believe that wow only deleted them on 01/01/07 when they had the update and made 4 seprate folders... but there are lots of people with it still on, i played back then but i had to delete wow of my comp and re-install it so i was out of space ...
    ...
yes i do have firefox and it is fast, and i have a 300 gig harddrive its just cause i make a bunch of flash games which take up a bunch of space , i filled up 200 gigs of my hardrive in less then 7 months with flash :P
