Is there a way of getting a free char transfer to a desired server, ones "home" serv?

I was wondering how it would be possible to talk a GM into giving you a free character transfer, off to another account?

What could be the possible reasons?

Basicly I want to transfer off and race change. But 40 Euros for this? Is gigantique imho for basicly a gm pushing two buttons...

I've tried everything in and out of the book. They will never do it. The only time that we got a free transfer was after my wife bought her account back and said it was hacked and they transferred her toon back to original server. Hopefully they will adjust their pricing on transfers/faction changes especially when other mmo's out there do it for free or very little money. I doubt it though now with game tokens people will spend the money they are "saving" on character services.
