Two accounts under different names

Right now I have two world of Warcraft accounts on separate battle.net accounts. I want to get get both of the accounts on one battle.net. I have the information for both accounts. Both accounts are mine. Is there any easy way to do this? How should I could about doing this? Another question If i were to make a new battle net account with both of the last names on it, looking something like this john smith-adams, would it make it easier to transfer to that account?

Any help would be appreciated.

yep wont happen unless they are already both the same surname.

you could claim that its family and different name then they will ask for ID's with addresses.

A very convincing fake ID and a copy of marriage license or legal name change might work on getting one account's surname changed so you can then merge it.

I had no problems changing the name on one of my accounts so I could join it to my main Bnet cluster. I did this in September 2014, it took a couple weeks to get everything lined up but once I did there was no problems getting it changed and the account combined with my Bnet. I had no clue how to go about this myself, so I asked a GM via ticket.


This is what I wrote:
Theres no way to make this sound any less shady, but I can assure you I am being 100% honest. When I made this account, I used a pseudonym for safety on the internet. I now understand Blizzard is a safe company where my information is protected, and I trust the company with my information. Is it possible for me to change the pseudonym on this account to my actual birth name of which I have ID and birth certificate and such of? I am the original creator of this account, I have all information required for this account; the original disks and codes, access to the original email, the original plastic authenticator in hand, etc. However, I am not able to provide a "before and after" ID since the name is made up. Let me know what steps I may have to go through to change the fake name to my real one. Thanks!

(Side note: the 'safety on the internet' part was a bit of a white lie, so you can stick whatever reason in there you want for the different name)

Hi there!

Okay! So normally in cases like these, you're correct, we do require you to submit a name change request with your new ID reflecting your name as well as a before piece of documentation that states your original name however in cases where the name is made up then we would need you to verify your account with us as well as submit a ToU form attached to your request ticket (printed out and signed) and a photo of your ID. I know its a bit of a hassle but we do this in order to make account selling and other nefarious activity more difficult to accomplish!

Once you have that completed, please snap a picture of it and make a new ticket on our support site (https://us.battle.net/support/en/hel.../battlenet/612). Please choose a live chat or phone call back (if available) for the easiest method of completion. If both of those options are grayed out at the moment (due to those contact channels being closed) then submit a ticket and please include those CD keys or other identifying information for your account (please, NOT password).

Once we get that we should be able to assist with updating your name to the name on your ID.




Like I said, it did take a couple weeks for me to get it all lined up, partly because I'm a backwoods hillbilly with no printer at home. But once I did, the name was in fact changed and the account was able to scoot over to my main Bnet cluster. I have had no issues with it since the move. It was moved in late September and I have played on it daily since then.

To the people saying it won't happen... maybe you just had bad luck, but it CAN and DOES happen if you don't act like an idiot and jump through the hoops they place.
