So whats the general verdict for Legion as of now?

Is it fun? is it worth upgrading? Are the changes better or worse?

30% of the content is still gated (raids, mythic+, pvp season). So it's kind of hard to say.

I love it, but i feel stuck because of gated content. I log in to do 2-3 missions and then work on alts.

Leveling experience is amazing.

I am only level 103 but I like it a lot so far, way better than WoD. They need to do some balancing for the classes but that is always the case at the start of a new expansion.

Leveling experience is great. But hey, WoD had a great leveling experience too. Just know that Legion's is better, and not just a little bit better, a lot better. However, there are still some annoyances, imo. Follower missions still exist in this game, albeit in a slightly modified form in the Class Halls. I still think time-gated, Facebook/mobile game features like this time-gated crap have no part in this game, even though it is less obnoxious than before, it is still there, and you have followers to lvl from 100 to 110.

Every profession and 2ndary profession is really fleshed out with a lot of sub-content to do, which is good. Each class has its own content, and each spec within each class has its own quest chain. We are literally talking about there being 35 different quest chains in the game if you have all 12 classes. In other words, if you like playing alts, there is a Crap load to do. However, this also makes the expansion somewhat alt-unfriendly, as it takes a lot of effort to raise the level of a relic weapon, and having to do it on each alt!?

PVP seems to be in a much better place, imo, though with the normal imbalance issues at a start of an expansion, at lvl 110 it is not horrible and is slowly being dealt with.

Anyway, I still think it is far too early to say since so much of the game is gated until Sep 20th.

I'm loving the lore for each artifact for my characters, and with world quests it feels like you always have something to do. I'm sure people will get burned out on them, but like others have said a lot of end game content is still gated till the 20th.
