Got a warning for buying gold, Is it risky to buy more ?

    Hello,
I bought 20k in a rush the other day and I got a warning from Blizzard. I wasn't banned but they did say if I was caught again they'd ban me.
What do you think I should do ? should I stop buying gold completly ? This is my main account and this is the first time in 4+ years that I've been caught buying gold...
I badly need gold now lol..

Yes, it's like purchasing all things in wow from a third party seller is Buyer Beware. for all intensive purposes you could pay this said person for a mount. which they bought using a stollen creditcard blizzard willl remove the mount from your items and you will be out the gold that they wont return to you. With buying in game currency it's against the ToS in which case they can perm ban you for it or even without any warnings to you.

Would it be safer to buy a TCG item and sell it on the Auction house ? Ie. A Spectral Tiger ?

Personally I would wait a while before purchasing anything. You have been warned so now they may monitor your acc closely. If the gold is worth it, it's worth waiting for. Especially when your whole account is in jeopardy

You could do a tcg item. That's the safer option.

Buying TCG out of game, claiming ingame and selling is perfect way, if you can afford it. Its 101% legit for Blizzard.

It really depends on what you do in the game. I've known higher rated pvpers or top heroic raiders who never get in trouble for buying gold.

Apart from that you could always get a friend to buy gold on their account and then actually give it to you.
