"Safer" Way to bot whit 10+ Bots?

Hello there, i did some research about, actually i'm botting 5 accounts on the same pc whit the same id (on the same server too xD), and i'm fine if i got all 5 banned (really.)
I want to start 5 bots on another server, but i have some questions and hope u can help me because i really find lot's of guide but everyone say different shit over the web..

What is good to have? different IP (using VPS or other stuff) and the new 5 bot on a virtual machine (whit Vmware?), or this is just useless, or you know better way to make "groups" of bots so as not getting all banned together?
What you think is the "Safer" way to do this?
    Thx in advice guys =)

As Cecu say, let me add more info:
I need all them stay up 24/24 7/7, that's why i want the chance of ban can affect groups of only 5 bots..
    So i can't shifts them =)

Simply play them on 2 shifts, so not all of the 10 are online in the same time, but 5 working, 5 resting and repeat!
