Having played both horde and ally to 60 and a few of each to high 50s I have to say horde is better.
Better racials and overall more mature, all the 10 year olds that have just seen LOTR go to the alliance, tho I am obviously not talking every1.
Whenever I play horde I can own up allys so easy but its a different story from alliance.
Switch gnomes to horde and then I would never roll another ally

no skilled ppl make ALWAYS a paladin. That class is insane imba with there shield and ****. Horde Got more style, and play with more skill,, -> on my server we always win with PuGs ab & wsg, BEcause the allys just play noob and unskilled and go always on solo honor hunting. Just 11 year old noobs.

Well horde is good cause they have much cooler races like orcs and tauren. And they have shammies witch are the best. And better racials. But allies have palidins, and now since tbc is coming out horde will be even better cause they will get pallies too. so horde ftw

With people going on and on about this side being better because it doesn't have all the 10 yr olds on it, that really does depend on the server. I have a 60 Ally on one server that is mainly older people,where as Horde are the 10 yr olds. Then on another server I am in a nice older guild on the Horde side, with Alliance being the dumbasses. Honestly I think both factions have their pros and cons its just a personal preference for the individual. Being that my original lvl 60 toon is Alliance I would have to side with them in they are better. Horde still own AB and WSG in my BG server group but Alliance mop the floor with Horde in AV and I am alright with that.
Horde even tried the whole AV terrain exploit that can be found in the exploits section and since me being here and knowing about it, I was able to gank them while they tried to get behind DB.

Your so very wrong...... not all alliance play like noobs, the amount of hordes i have come across that didn't have a clue what they were doing...... well it's round about 100 on the server i play on, but sure i admit there are alliance noobs and idiots as well, personally i like both factions but i play on the alliance side because me and my friend started on alliance so i stuck with it..... i do have horde characters on other servers though.

I'm a Paladin, but not th damn Pally stereotype- I am not 10, I have never seen LOTR, I definatley don't Bubble + Hearth, and I actually heal+buff+pick off horde who break through the lines while in AV, like most Paladins should, instead of rushing in and dying (because the title 'Paladin' makes most horde automatically think were a big threat, so they attack us, and therefore we die faster in bigger battles).

All thats just on my server though, no idea about others.

You get your newbs who don't learn thier class properly on alliance, but you also get the most harcore raiders on allilance aswell.

But on Horde you get the general population of people relazing and doing raiding at the same time.

I'd go with Allorde myself.

This post is just stupid, i've played both horde and ally side up to lvl 60 and the only differences are the cities and shammys vs pallys. The environments arent better or worse, depends on what u like (i hate darnassus and undercity), sw and tf arent bad and IF and OG r the main cities. I find ally models a bit more gay, but thats my opinion. The ppl isnt different for choosing ally or horde, when u ask a mage for food u'll get same answers everywhere. the racials r the only thing i care. in tbc the differences will be reduced even more.

i like horde as i feel their like the underdogs...its like blizz made horde first and used all their ideas and just threw the reject ideas on the allies as all the horde races are different with a background whereas i agree with the poster that said gnomes humans and dwarves are essentialy the same...and if i remember right there is only one way into IF and SW whilst there is multiple ways into UC and Org whicj result in more raids...just my 2 cents

I chose Horde coz of the Tauren (i think they look awesome) + they have the war stomp racial ability , which suits my Druid just fine . But i also think horde and alliance are even when it comes to power now since allies have shamans now , which should stop the horde BG dominance coz shamans realy rock in BG (high dps , healing , Mail armor , ability to travel fast with ghost form , and they can rez themselves + others) . Basicaly Shamans are made for BGs and they were the reason for the horde happy BG days but now its all over : (
