    WoW FPS

I'm looking for a new computer to increase my performance on WoW a bunch. I'm running around 60 fps in dungeons, and 70-80 fps in any random area (no capitals)
I'm running low to middle settings (I'm also using a laptop)
    Those are my system specs
2,9-GHz dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost to 3,6 GHz
    8 GB 1600-MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2 x 4 GB
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (1024 MB VRAM)

Will those specs boost my FPS?
2,6-GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost to 3,1 GHz
    4 GB 1600-MHz DDR3 SDRAM
    128 GB PCIe SSD
    Intel Iris Graphics

Also, is the difference between those CPU's a lot running highest settings at 1920x1080?
2,9-GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 Turbo Boost to 3,6 GHz
3,1-GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 Turbo Boost to 3,9 GHz
[NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1 GB vram]

None of the above will do wonders. The most important thing is the graphic card, but I see you have a laptop.

Atm I do, but my next one will be a 'desktop' if that's what you can call it
The specs below will be the next one, and I was wondering if 200 euro would be worth upgrading from i5 to i7

Get a decent graphics card. Something like that should do if you really want a laptop: Dell Official Site - The Power To Do More | Dell

I don't buy windows computers. And I didn't say I want a laptop, I just asked for comparing the last 2 Cpu's, and the first 2 specs

I built a low end computer for my GF using the core i5 haswell, msi OC gtx760 2gb GPU, 16gb memory, and 120gb solid state drive. she averages about 100fps rolling around pandaria, not sure on her fps in raids, but pvp she stays near 150fps. I currently am doing SLI with the OC 760's and my fps never goes below 130. But i have noticed wow is processor dependent too, so your graphics card will only do so much because a lot of information happens really fast the more players that are near you

i wouldnt go with the i7 i would go with the i5 3570k and with that extra 200 $$ thats left buy an aftermarket cpu cooler ( so u can overclock ) around ~50 or even 100 to get a hydro one and rest 100$$ to a better gpu.

I have a hydro for the i5 and it's pointless, it's just overkill and you'll probably end up buying custom fans for it because the stock ones are noisy as hell. Most people OC an i5 to 3.4 ghz so a heavy duty fan is all that's needed, not a water cooler :P

i5, pointless taking an i7 unless you render a lot of videos or do 3d design, it's overkill for gaming really and a waste of money at that. I use an i5 with wow and bf4 open, both on max settings, mumble, winamp and firefox open with no problems

Just make sure to go for a quad core... I honestly don't see a reason to go for a dualcore i5/i7 (do these even exist? I think you meant i3), quad core and above is what you want, unless you want to change your CPU again real soon...
