I used a keypress program and macros to do it. One toon would always be a warrior and 2nd would always have the warrior on follow, with a macro like (have my warrior on focus) /targetfocustarget /cast arcane shot and spam that all day. Often I would find a healer who's doing the same thing (you'll notice his 2nd toon is on follow and doing low dps) and I'd add them to b-tag to group with them later. What's annoying is when you do dungeon quests and would have to loot with both toons, which the other dps might get annoyed at your slowed pulls.

For the looting, keybind "Interact with Target" to a key for example like "K" also, set target last hostile to another key. Then go head over to the one you want to loot, loot it on the main toon, then walk a bit further up, use the last hostile key and then K, and you have looted your target
