WoW 5.3 Ignore List Mailbox Bug [Potential Way to DUPE items] (v.2)

Tried this last night and as far as I remember I did these steps:
1. char A ignores char B
2. char B sends char A random mails (some empty mails, some cod mails, some mails containing items and some only containing gold)
3. when I logged char A I noticed that I also recieved C.O.D mails from character C (which I didn't even log that day)
4. Meanwhile having the mailbox window open I typed /unignore char B, /reloaded and the cod from char C was still there, so I took a permanent letter from the mail.
5. I relogged and checked my inventory for the permanent copy letter and it still said that it was sent from char C - so no, wasn't visual ( probably useless but still)

An idea for those of you who have got 2 accounts. Acc A has char A on it and Acc B has character B on it. char A ignores char B. char A puts an item on the AH and char B buys that item. What will char A recieve from the AH?

You aren't ignoring the Auctionhouse.
So you'll just get whatever you bought.

I got something that might be useful, but probably not! So what i did was, created a lvl 1 character, sended a "Greetings" message to my main, when my mani was ingored and also the lvl 1 character, then i loged out and deleted the lvl 1. Ignored 1 another character with some gold and items, sended em to my main, witch were igonored on this one to, and also my main had ingored the one with gold. And i recieved a message lik a npc would send, and it cant get sended back since the character is gone! So the mails will stay that way. Thx!

You aren't ignoring the Auctionhouse.
So you'll just get whatever you bought.

When it says like "Bought from character B" - It might bug out since you ignored that player? Worth looking into.

okay i did this and then deleted my main and told a gm to put my character back after deleting. It let me delete because it said i had no mail when i did have that weird gold. Then when i logged on char i had a full mail box of gold cap And i can loot it!

I just don't get it (assuming it was a lie like people claim it to be). Why people bother lying that much and making up stories when they won't even know if someone tried it or not? Seems like terrible trolling to me.

Woke up a bit earlier and I will try to do it again, to people that say I am lying and whatever, it's your call if you believe me or not, I did it once with the perchaments at start and I got me 150k gold extra just by sending 50k gold and doing it, I've done it in a more complicated way than I explained here, involving 3 characters and also having mails from AH, full bags.

I will work to find a stable way of doing it, for all of us, because the process it's not always the same, there's some internal CD we know nothing about (atleast me) that needs to proc, don't know how many of you noticed but after doing it like 10-20 times the mails don't even show up, you need to stay logged out for a while.

I will keep you updated and to trolls saying you need to delete your character, involve GM, ofcourse you don't want to do that, that's just stupid and you're wasting all of our time.

I can assure you of one thing, it worked for me so it definetly must work for you, a couple of guys said that they duped some shards, some gold also..

As I said I will try to find a stable way of doing it, cheers...will try with 200k now, putting it all on the line..

If anyone finds a good working way of doing it in the meantime, please share it with us. Peace!

Cool, but you cant delete char with mail. Atleast without CE.

Would it be safe to bug the mailbox out with your duped gold that's no longer in your main characters inventory. Then do an account restoration to get your gold back, un-bug the mailbox and have your gold sent back?

It's nice to see that this thread is being taken seriously, keep up the good work guys ! I managed to dupe 333 gold and I got so happy this morning and was going to make a video on how I did it , but I got confused at some point and it all messed up in my head

And ever since then I have been trying it over and over again and just can't seem to remember how I did it ( It was something like : B ignores A then Asends the mail to B and puts B to ignore list, but I can't remember what I did after that )

Anyways, I got 333 gold on both of the chars and I only sent 1 mail.
