Question About SOR Account

I just bought a SOR account to bot with and merged it into my battle net account. I dont really know how it works if SOR accounts are unsafe. But do you need to transfer the character to my other account to make it more safe?

SOR account is very unsafe especially in U.S right now but EU might be safer, I dunno since I don't play there. I had 4 of them locked by Bliz after merging to my battle.net account because they need me to prove that I'm the owner of these accounts which I can't of course. If you're going to play the character, then go ahead and pay for the transfer to your account which is 100% safe. If you're planning on just use it for botting purpose, then don't bother and just bot till it gets banned or locked I guess.

After how long time botting were you banned? Is the only different when botting with a SOR account that you cant prove it's your account when the ban hits? Otherwise a SOR account and a regular account are the same risk?

Some reckon SoR is more risky as it's not in your name to start with and it seems like on US realms at least that there is some script running to check SoR accounts details against the bnet account they are merged with.

I have been botting on my SoR account for more then a year now, it is merged with my main account and never had some problems
Although I actually play my bot alt and it is pretty decently geared + it has 9/9 gold CMs.

All in all if you monitor your bot and if you don't use public profiles it shouln't be a problem even if it's a SoR account.

I think don't merge with your main account, just continue to bot with SoR account, if you bot a lot you will take ban for this, not because it isn't your account.

It will be fine as long he monitors the bot
It is true SoR have somewhat higher ban rate but still, it's pretty low for both SoR and legit paid account

Many people selling old accounts, where its is possible to throw a spell of resurrection which allow to have a char lvl 80 (any class or server, which can also carry items / golds).
