Question about SOR accounts -> Pls Look :)

Hey guys, few questions here on SOR accounts. Mind that I play on US servers.



I was wanting to buy a SOR account to make it my AH bot. I don't want to post anymore auction on my main accounts as I feel I am risking them too much by using a AH bot. I have heard about these SOR accounts, how they are cheap and all but have also heard they can get banned. If i were to buy one of these accounts and activate it and not do anything with it, would I still get banned on them? How does blizzard detect its a SOR account. Would there be risk on using an AH bot (with a total of probably 20k/day going through the acc) just because of how easily these accounts can get banned?

Basically I am confused as to why these accounts get banned and how blizzard knows they were bought accounts.


Please enlighten me!

Edit: any tips if i were to purchase such accounts 0.0?

Does it have to be a SoR-Account?
You would only "need" a SoR-account if you wanted to use professions - for pure AH botting a Battlechest might be the better choice.

reason why i chose a SoR account is that sometimes it can come with valuable stuff so it seems fun. How come u recommend sor accounts only for professions?

It's true, that you might get lucky and obtain something valuable on a SoR-account, but "very" unlikely (except you buy some of these 40+ month played SoR-accounts which cost around 50€).
It's good for professions, because a SoR-account comes with a free lvl 80, on which you could easily push professions to 525/525.
