Im programmer since 2000, and play wow since beta...

Since i do not work with programming languange anymore im looking for a project on WoW to catch up...



Im looking for addon ideas to work with.. I will do it absolutely no charge and 100% free.

I just need some good ideas to practice this

For my suggestion, an auto responding addon that replies based on keywords preset. The response can contain LUA so say for example: You spam trade with guild spam, "/2 <I Have Socks> is recruiting, please whisper me with %ginvite for a quick invite!" or something, and it auto sends them an invite. OR better yet, you can "sorta" automate gambling. "/y Want to win free gold just by /rolling? Whisper me with %letsparty to get started" or something like that.


Just an idea, with tons of possibilities.

I was thinking at a whisper addon also to make it easy for starters
Basically for my bots tbh
What i want it to do is,when someone whispers me something,the addon automatically replies with a random 1-10 pre setted answers
If a player whispers 2 times overall,the addon ignores him

My idea a while ago was to make an addon/mod that scales down health/damage/stats like 95% visually because of how high numbers are getting now. It would be so pleasant to read

An addon that many people would find useful would be an addon which makes it more simple to look for arena partners. You put in the things that you're looking for, let's say that you're looking for a rdruid:
Class: Druid
Spec : Resto
Arena experience: 2400+

After you've put these settings the addon should scan the trade chats for people who's looking for 2s/3s/5s and that fits these requirements and then notify you if it finds someone that meets the requirements that you put. I for one would really love to have an addon like this
