Infractions are by account so it will still show that that particular account had the ban.

I have contacted let them know that my brother had been using my account without my knowledge, to test the macro program and that it wasnt me. I told them I would secure the account etc etc but after 2 tries it's still no.

Now Im trying to see if I could get the ban taken off or moved to my brothers account by logging into it and confessing the whole thing. I dunno

I know this is an older post, but telling them your little brother was using your account implies that you gave him your username and p/w...which is against terms of use. =/

no, you are allowed to share your account with a family member as long as you are the parent or guardian. but its still your responsibility

I don't use Honorbuddy, just use isBoxer and Jitbit macro recorder to farm and sell gold. Also as the suggest of the poster of Macro Recorder thread, i changed the time delay... to make the action not always the same, but well still get this suspend.

So my question is: this will be auto-lifted after 72 hours? or I have to do something. And later if i play by myself but still at the same farm spot will i get a ban again? Also is it risky if i sell gold again even with hand-farm?

Yup, i stated in a previous thread that macro recorders are bannable.

I'm just curious why this would be acceptable? Many companies such as RAZER and Logitec have software for their keyboards and mice all come with macro recorders and getting banned just for 60-150$ keyboard and mouse is pretty retarded on blizzards part.

It's not retarded at all. You agreed to an EULA that forbids you from using any automation tool. Macro recorders are such. You can buy a 1000$ Keyboard and you'll get banned if you automate your game. It's normal, if you don't like it quit the game. And you are not getting banned for having the keyboard, you are getting banned for using that feature of your keyboard.

You can buy a 1000$ Keyboard and you'll get banned if you automate your game. It's normal, if you don't like it quit the game. And you are not getting banned for having the keyboard, you are getting banned for using that feature of your keyboard.

I'm not sure I spoke with a GM about the software that comes with some mice and keyboards and if theres any aspect of it that is bannable and why, that GM claims that macro recorders are fine (not the same thing as a clicker) and that they do not ban for using any mice or keyboard software unless the person is using the software to write scripts into the game in such a way they are able to run it and walk away while it continues to do w/e while being able to be unattended. So basically my understanding, if you can use the program to write a bot script you can be banned, if not then you can use macro recorders.

I only recorded buttons press and mouse click, no moving and yeah got banned 72 hours.
