72 Hour Suspension - Final Notice.... for fishbotting? or....

    So I just got...

Account Action: Final Warning, 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation - Economy Exploitation

After a thorough investigation, we have found that a player of the account listed above participated in activities designed to gain an unfair advantage in the World of Warcraft economy.

In my email last night, Cant figure out if its just for fish botting WG the last 6 months, Or I sell gold to other guild members out of game, personal stuff... we never mention it in game. Also This was the first time i did it. Could somehow i be trigger by giving 20k to person A and mailing person B 20k? Kinda silly... Its not all that much money.

Also.. to anyone that has gotten this suspension before what does your account look like when you get back on? is it stripped?

I'm thinking of making a new account and just saying **** all to the old one.... maybe transfering my best toon to the new account as long as it doesnt bering the dreaded " FINAL NOTICE" with him.

it's for selling gold, if it's for fishbotting you would have gotten a "use of third party blablabla" ban.

How the hell could they assume im selling gold... I could just be giving friends money to pay them back etc.

It's not like 20,000g is much anymore. It isnt helping that when i email that "WowAdmin" account i never get answer answer.

Also... We never talk about buying or selling gold ingame, it is always done over vent. another person in my guild does this with no problem what so ever. So im curious why they would single me out >_<

I'm assuming all my gold is going to be wiped out when i log in 3 days later.

Indiscreetly. there is 100% no way they could tell a transaction between 2 people is goldselling.

What about the man who gives someone 35,000g to be carried thru Uld25 to get the mount, is he going to be banned?

This is situational and it seems they merely ASSUMED someone doesnt just give other people large amounts of ingame cash. Do you follow me?

Its not like im whispering ingame -> why dude wanna buy some gold? [email protected] $40

Yea Prolly that... I wonder if they are gonna wipe out all my guys gold. ugh.

I asked the people i traded to and they said they still have the money I gave them.

Has anyone ever confirmed if you transfer a character to a brand new account do you take that accounts infractions over with you too?

well i guess it's against the rules to just give away 40k gold lol, or atleast they'll think ur selling, make them trade you something next time, like a BOE epic for 40k lol.

Don't you mean "discreetly", or are you admitting that you were caught because you were retarded?

    You just keep thinking that.

Anyway, to try and be a bit more helpful...

The absolute truth is that no one knows for sure. There are people who will tell you they "know" that it's one way or the other, but they don't because that's the kind of stuff Blizz is extremely secretive about. (Bettter safe than sorry imo, but that's just my opinion)

    LOL i just got 1 2

Account Action: 72 Hour SuspensionReason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Use of Third Party Automation Software This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

But mine was defo a bot
