Is there any good way to appeal this ban so it could be removed? I have been using the same computer and same IP for most of the time. Only changed IP and machine when Im sometimes home in the weekend. But Ive been using my home IP and pc for some years so don't think I can use it as excuse of being hacked? Basically: weekdays: laptop, dorm IP - weekend: desktop, home IP. Is there any way I can use this to my advantage maybe? Will they be able to see from which IP and pc I appeal from?
I am going home today and until saturday and was planning on playing with a friend so this is highly inconvenient right now ;( Any help is super super much appreciated!!

Do the crime do the time.
72hour isn't that serious. Not real way to appeal that either unfortunately

If you got a main on that account that is important to you then you might want to transfer it to a new account. As blizzard don't keep tracks on moved character. And the moved character will be on a new account with no flags on it. 72 hours is risky as that you're last warning and next one will be permanent

There are always ways to appeal.. and I wouldn't mind doing the time if it wasn't because Im going home for 3 days today, one of the few times I can play with my little brother who has been looking forward for weeks...

Are you absolutely sure that you weren't using Honorbuddy? There's a hundred of reports about 72-hour suspensions given out last week. One of my accounts got it as well, though it was only one out of a dozen while all of them did the same thing, just on different realms. Wrapping everything up and laying low for now.

What is RAT?
I have contacted let them know that my brother had been using my account without my knowledge, to test the macro program and that it wasnt me. I told them I would secure the account etc etc but after 2 tries it's still no.
Now Im trying to see if I could get the ban taken off or moved to my brothers account by logging into it and confessing the whole thing. I dunno

A RAT hack = Remote Administration Tool Hack.
It's a hack that can let someone else remotely control your computer

Rat isn't a hack well at least the original purpose of it isn't...

Well, it was just a basic explanation. Trying to make everyone, who's not familiar with such things, to understand.

Wow, hadn't thought of that. So how do you go about explaining that you had one? You just say someone did this attack to you and thats it?

Do you think they will keep track of the character if you change realm and name?
