Does Recruit a Friend time get removed if recruited legitly?

Title says all, if I recruited a friend who actually accepted my invitation from email, then buys the game, will my recruit time get removed? Or will it actually stay and not be removed?

If he buys it legitimately, it won't get removed.

Blizzard is just removing game time that is from stolen CC's or charged back.
