My cross faction guild was closed!

I logged in to my bank toon to find out that my cross faction Horde/Ally guild no longer exists. It looks like Blizzard just went ahead and DELETED my entire guild but was nice enough to mail all the items it contained to the GM's mailbox. Did this happen to anyone else? And I thought they weren't going to find out!!


Oh well, was fun while it lasted I guess.

One of the guilds I made was deleted, but the other still remains intact. The one that was deleted was on Burning Legion which is roughly 50/50 pop so there is actually a point in having one - the one on Ravencrest is practically useless because of the faction imbalance, so I assume this is why Blizzard did not bother with deleting it.
