You will never get $800, just being honest. Those sites you see on here selling 'high-end accounts' for $2500 have been bumping up the same posts since they started, because nobody is paying that much for a WoW account anymore, regardless of how "rare' it is. Level 85 is worthless now with SoR, so it doesn't really matter if you have 12 or 2, the real value is in your level 25 guild (about $150 bucks give or take), and whatever rare mounts/titles you have. I'd say probably about $350-400 would get it sold.

$500 minimum would be doable for me.

Gear is worth nothing with MOP coming out. Not to mention how easy it is to get gear with the raid finder.

I have tons of achievements and unobtainable feats of strength.

every 85 (11) has the world event flying mount which takes a year to complete.

I have a lot of bank alt guilds, unobtainable items, gold, etc.

The people I see selling just seem to be selling a character with good gear and a few odd achievements.

Watch out about selling your account. Once they get certain information they can take over the account completely so that's your main concern. I say be careful to who you sell to. I'd say find someone who is willing to communicate, the guy I sold to gave me his phone number and facebook. With paypal you will have to worry about someone contending the payment after they pay you so you end up with no money and they end up with the account. I think they have technically 45 days so call paypal with any concerns you have. Just be careful who you sell to, if you get any doubts about the persons character don't sell to him! Edit: Also, to sell mention any mounts you have, unobtainable items or rare etc. As many have said it's not exactly the amount of 85's you have but rather what makes each special. I can have Confucius bot me a full 85 ruthless gear for like 40$ so thats why toons dont carry as much weight as they once did, especially in regards to how easy obtaining gear is.

I just sold my account to this site tgs.net and was googling about selling accounts to see if i got a good deal. But, curious, how could someone screw you big time?

Ps. The facebook registration for this forum is kinda funky, it won't accept your username as your name with the space in it, but gives no error to let you know that.

you people are stupid, he could EASILY get 1000$ for that account, i know people who level 1 85 with garbage gear and on each account and sell them constantly for 300$ each.

if you think different then go ahead and try say he wont get that much money but i know for a fact he can.

I sold a similar account to that game supply site for $250 and that was $200 more vbarrack or toonstorm offered. I had it listed on playerauctions for almost a month with no bids as well.

Maybe check out account-bay.com. It's an auction site and with all the coupons out there and starting credit on sign up at their site it is more or less free to sell there.Try to use moneybookers (no charge backs, so lower risk to get scammed) and follow the rules of Lordloamasa above. Then everything should be fine.
