    WoW and Proxies

I'm currently using Proxifier, which is a great tunneling application usable with any exe file to redirect it's traffic through a Proxy of my choosing. However I don't think that by just tunneling "wow.exe" I can fake the location completely from Blizz. Anyone has any idea how WoW interacts with proxies? Do I have to tunnel every outgoing connection through proxifier to make sure it stays hidden?

I'm mostly concerned about Warden. I don't know how it works, only that it loads into memory when WoW stars and I think it's separate from wow.exe, thus not affected when I tunnel wow.exe.Any thoughts on this issue?

Proxifier should successfully route all the network traffic through the proxy.

But that doesn't protect you from things being detected by Warden and such. It's simply going to make it look like it coming from a different IP address. It all depends on what you are trying to avoid.

As far as Warden is concerned its not a separate process that is running on the machine...its simply code in the wow.exe process.

Thanks for the answer. I'm not trying a hack and using proxifier to hide it. I'm actually trying to make it look like it's a totally different IP accessing WoW. If all it takes is routing WoW.exe through proxifier that's awesome.
One more thing though: does my MAC have anything to do with it? I mean, can they check my MAC to see if it's coming from the same computer, even if I have a different IP address?

Yeah they can check your MAC address, but I've never heard of them using MAC address to do any checks. I know lots of people that are running multiple bots and such from the same machine/IP and they don't always get hit at the same time.

Go sell your gold through your proxy and get your account banned. If you're lucky you'll be able to claim hack and get your account back. Not really sure why you're being unclear about what you are ultimately trying to do.

I'm not trying to be unclear about what I'm trying to do, it's just not relevant to my queries hehe . And yes I am, in a broad scope, trying to sell my gold, though I'm trying out more elegant solutions than just getting banned through proxy then claiming I was hacked. Thanks for the input.
