3h ban, what did I do wrong?

I used the TCG Scam. This is how I did it.


Scammed a few thousand.
Traded the gold from acc#1 to acc#2.
Sended the money from acc#2 character to another acc#2 character.
Put up an auction on my legit account, and bought it with acc#2.

Then I deleted all characters involved and recreated with the same name.

Hmm, that's wierd if it got you banned. Since you deleted your tracks pretty well, but blizzard is getting smarter - or perhaps the one you scammed somehow knew your main acc/char?

But tbh - it shouldnt get you a ban ;p

Blizzard can track how the gold has been traded/sended and character deletion/recreation.

Dunno if it helps but try a proxy for Account 2 and another proxy for your legit account (assuming this isn't Account 1)

Indeed blizzard can track the ip's wich you are logged on , wich means you logged in on 2 accounts at the same Ip, and blizzard will assume you are the same person who scammed= ban/suspend

I allways put up an auction on my own IP then turn on VPN when I buy it.

i transferred my gold, from scammed acc to scammed account then to another scammed and then to another scammed and at last to my account, try use like ah and in game trade and not transfer all the money at same time try split it up in stacks.

Just like Woink always use two diffrent IP's when on accounts, blizzard can track the reported char and check to see if any others accounts where logged on the same IP within a time range. So if you logged into your real account like 20 seconds after you scammed him/her (on the reported account) then blizzard will check to see anything out of place (example: some how your level of gold went up buy the amount that was claimed to be stolen) they are gonna be supicious.

I just have my alt desposit the gold into the guild bank, delete it, and then grab it with my guild leader, well not all of it, i have some guildies take some too, to spread it out.

Blizzard tracked you, because you're a newbie at scamming. Just remember to change your IP after transaction, and attempt to occupy the victim (the person you scammed) for a few minutes after to keep them from opening a ticket. Also, just buy the auction then delete your scamming character, the gold transaction SHOULD still work (It did when I scammed 3.0.9).

Why getting the gold on your main account anyways? I would just sell it to goldbuyer get it off your hands, and dont involve your main account at all.
