    Computer Specs - What's holding me back from Streaming?

    I want to stream my WoW game play, however my fps goes from 40+ to 12-13 when i use Xsplit to stream on Own3d.tv

    Posted below is my computer specs

    yesyesyes hate on me all you want for using windows xp, i like it and it's what i grew up using haha.

    however if that's the thing holding me back, i'll gladly upgrade.

    Processor, Ram, gfx card. However streaming or screen recording mostly reduces your fps but a lot.

    It's pretty much the entire system, I would say mostly the CPU though. Depending on the quality you wish to stream in you really want a better CPU than that. There is a really good guide on Teamliquid that you can find here: Stream Quality Guide

    since we are at it ... any idea what i should improve with mine?
