Nogg-it and WoW

I heard that using Nogg-it will change the terrain in the retail version and can get you banned, I am not sure since i am a noggnoob who has to reinstall WoW due to nogg-it. is there a way to use Nogg-it and not mess with the terrain ingame?

I'm not so familiar with Nogg-it,but I think it changes the MPQ files,so you'd better always have a copy of your original WoW's MOQ Files which can be found in the World of Warcraft folder in the Data folder.Have a copy of them,and when you're done with the messing with the terrain,just overwrite them and restart WoW
