First off, i would like to apologize if this has already been answered, i just didn't wanna bring back a really old thread to the front. Wouldn't look nice since i just joined up

So anywayz here goes, i bought an account from vbarrack about a week or 2 ago. Ok everything was done fine i paid usd175 for a brand new account and that particular character was transferred to this new account. Everything was A'OK they gave me a login email and a password for the account THEN they said "We will give you the information in 7 weeks time" Information i'm referring to is the secret question blablabla ya know the whole thing so you'd be able to change the whole account info and shiet including cd keys.

So i said wait a minute there was nothing stated in your FAQ about me waiting 7 weeks for this information. According to them switching the info now could get the account into trouble (Remember its a fresh account with a character transferred over to it) coz its just been transferred and also if there were any problems they could solve it quickly with blizzard for me coz after all they had all the information.

Twice i contacted them feeling uneasy, BECAUSE 7 weeks = just above the 45 day limit you can open a dispute with paypal (I paid with paypal btw) but they kept telling me if they released the info to me now they couldn't guarantee my accounts safety of not being banned. So i was just getting worried. I called paypal i opened disputes and guess what?? Paypal does not cover for anything you charge OUTSIDE of ebay. From what i see here the only option for me is to do a chargeback.

Now this is what I'm wondering, should i trust these guys and wait the 7 weeks? Or should i just do a chargeback right now? I mean USD175 is alotta money considering the exchange rate. The only reason why i'm still trusting these guys is due to the fact that they got the VERISIGN seal and MCAfee seal. My dad a moderate company doing sales on ebay and he said its not easy to get that verisign seal. So what you guys think? I really don't know what to do here.

You see thats the problem, alotta people were saying that vbarrack is kind of a "big" company and usually you won't win in these kinda situations. On the other hand verisign seals aren't easy to get you gotta disclose company income company info and lotsa other sensitive shiet just to get that seal. McAfee shows their a very safe site as well.

According to my dad, haha his really well versed in this kinda stuff, he said just do a chargeback and say it wasn't you who did these purchases. You had no idea until you got your statement of account letter which i just recieved like yesterday. Think that might work?
