    Anyone notice the world patch is out today?

    If you dont believe me, go to World of Warcraft and read the newest and second newest Breaking News.

    You read it? Good. You probably understand it then.

    What? You don't?

    Ok, so it says that a 24 HOUR patch is... well, patching. *wink* IT also says that this patch is made in preperation for Cataclysm. *another wink* meaning, that this is such a huge patch, and it says it was in preparation for "A new Expansion Pack" It's sure to be the world edit patch.

    YourMomsAHorde is out.

    It said it was a 24 hour maintenance? Nothing about a patch.

    EDIT: No it is by NO way gonna be the world edit patch, the game is still in very early alpha. Multiple buildings in Org are bugged on the Alpha etc. Your sources are wrong.

    Not all realms are affected by this so, nope.

    And would make zero sense to update to an Alpha world then update again...

    Extended maintenance != patch.

    What would make them get the servers down for that long in preparation for the xpack when it's painfully obviously not the patch seeing that the thing is still under development?

    Hardware upgrades.

    Use your goddamn brain.

    It sayed it was a 24h maintenance to prepare de servers to Cataclysm, only that, nothing about world edits etc.
    "Prepare" i bet they'r increasing the server population, and some othe things regarding the server itself.
    Nothing about modifications.......

    Possibly 3.3.5 this week or the next, because the Terms of Service @ Battle.net are to change in a couple of days, but literal Cataclysm content? I don't think so.
