Yh, I get the same problem. However, I can't even get to the login screen. The screen turns black as if it will start, then crashes. I am at build 12644 using the sandbox. All patches enGB apart from the latest. I tried renaming from enGB to enUS ect. But no luck.

Sandbox is exploration only.

The beta itself can be used for private servers, but the server's need to be working correctly, and you have to use the patch they want you to use, which might still be the first build, due to how hard it is to update the experimental cores every week. So chances are, not many private servers, but there are a few.

The sandbox is as previously stated, only for exploration. It only provides you with a server for private use.

Yeah, as of the latest patch my beta client just crashes before the login screen even shows up (Assertion failed I believe). Too lazy to reinstall it.. such a long install, lol.

Nah, only reason I don't is because they all use ANCIENT builds, and I don't wanna stay behind of the close-to-currect builds.

Hpw can i patch my US client when i cannot open Launcher ? (Launcher requers write permission.)

Just ignore that box and click play. You also have to log in with any email and password afaik.

Not a 100% on this though I don't know if their older patches are still accessible with the new launchers release.

You have to rightclick on the launcher, go to Properties and uncheck write protect. And when i log in i use the same username and password, ex 123 and 123.
This works for me.

can someone link me to a private server that uses a cataclysm patch? i would love to see which healers and tanks are doing the best at 85 but in a group settings not by myself like a sandbox :P

No private server exist as far as I know. Cata is being rebuilt faster than privates can be set up.

Well, I was updating normally.
When I go to upgrade to version 12604, says it is not possible to validate game version ...
And yet, the launcher says it is for me to uninstall the game, and download the updated at battle.net.
So can anyone get me a link to the patch enUS 12604 (preferably Downloader, or it could be the complete patch)

I can't help you with that but if you want the new launcher you can get it from here.

Take note though if you're trying to play a sandbox, I believe this updates right from 12635 to 12803+ and there is no sandbox for the last few builds.

I am trying update to the 12803, to use a mangos, compiled by me :]
I will create goblin quests, worgen quests, etc.

That would be the one for the new launcher yes. You can use the blizzard downloader if you select 'Beta downloader'.

I downloaded the 12635, but... appears the Cataclysm installer, and don't have the button "Install", and yes "Play"...
When i click Play, open the launcher with the same error...

You need to uninstall the old version.
