Whispered by "player does not exist"

Hi all,

so I was botting last night, and when I get up in the morning I usually hit the "R" key to see if anybody messged me. Normally there isn't anyone who says anything buy today there was. I got a message saying " Hello, are you there (name)?". So usually I wouldn't be too concerned but I like to /who the name and see if they are still on and if they were in my area. Th player wasent online, so I tried to add them to my friends list. To my suprise, I got the error that the player did not exist. So I went to the armory, and again the player did not exist.

Do you guys think I should be worried about this, or has anyone else eve come accross the same thing?

make a new char
whisper him
log out and delete your char.



you have successfully trolled a botter.

Likely a spammer that got their character banned/deleted it. It would not show up on armory because it was likely under level 10.

I had the exact same problem, a person just whispered me as I were checking the bot, I replied but got that error, thought it were a GM first but nothing happend.

Defo a gold seller you can tell by the whisper he sent you more than likely got banned.
