I tried looking for this and the best I could find was a post from March 2008 so some info there no longer worked for me.

Is there a current list of gold dealer that will *buy* gold that I farm in WoW? I got 50k sitting in my pocket that I'd like to sell.

I've already passed them to an alt on a new WoW account I created ($10 vanilla account key, $20 game card both off eBay), used my laptop and proxy server to keep Blizzard from tracing it to me. Having an old and nearly dead guild with about 300 players (about 100 different accounts) in it kinds of help keep Blizzard from assuming both accounts are mine. Not exactly foolproof but so far no ban on passing that 50k gold.

Or am I better off trying PlayerAuctions and hope I don't get my throwaway account banned before I can sell all?

You could always try selling through guild. I tried once and ended up moving 50k in 2 days at 5$ per K
