how is the leveling in BGs?

Just a question for those who have tested the BG leveling allready. How fast is it going?

It's pretty slow. At level 10 BGs you get 100-250 xp for returning flag. It is not even visible on the bar.

yea im level 40 and im getting around 10-15% of a level each BG...im pretty sure at later levels AV is a bomb for xp!

Yeah, doing anything besides AV for levling is kind of pointless (the only thing that is remotely close is when you're winning an AB with 5-0, which gives you about 800 exp every 3rd second or so)

But doing AV is just great.
At level 51 I was cashing in on about 25% of a level for a flawless AV run (ie. kill 4 towers, cap GYs, and defend you towers) which is, at the least, as good as questing.

the downside is that you get rarely any gold

It's ok if you win, if you lose it sucks. I can get 4 bars + in AV if I win, 50-60 bracket

Its fun and good pace for me, im 25-30 in about a 4 hours.

It's ok, and coz it's more fun to lvl wile doing PvP. But if you wanna do powerleveling you should go for normal way, quests, instance bla bla :P

If you have a good battleground group AV leveling is by far the fastest way to level currently. Lower BG's not so much.

It's a good way of getting gear and epic gems in advance, and a decent way of leveling as you don't really have to do anything. You could watch a movie or wank or whatever while leeching xp and honor

Ive leveling my hunter from 71-75 in 38 AV's.. 18 wins. My fastest was 73-74 in 1.5 hours.

Ive found Questing is faster but bg leveling is more fun I suppose
