Hardcore = 10 % of WoW population

See the link ? They make the casuals happy since they want more casuals & hold those casuals, instead of those "10"% harcore guys.

They don't care about the game, believe me. You can't blame them for it, but you shouldn't expect them to make the game better for you if that can cost them money

Again .. the point, I think went right over your head as well, I am seriously starting to wonder why you people come to a site that requires "Reading" when clearly you have no grasp on the skill itself. Last patch I enjoyed was the one right before BT got opened for everyone, I was working on keal and then they did that bullshit. Oh thanks for all your hard work go diaf. Wrath is pretty much okay Im here give me my loots thanx goodbye imo.

Yeah, they're ruining the game. They've done that ever since 2.4 imo.
But actually I'm pretty sure it isn't because many 12 years olds play, but rather that many 25-30 years olds play. They don't have time to grind their full PvP set, and for some odd reason, Blizzard keeps patching in their favor.
They demote skilled and dedicated players with every patch. Very sad.

Overall, for me, the emblem change is the most devastating. The mounts and such are for leveling alts up so it becomes easier to get your extra healer/tank/dps to help the guild out., which is O.K. with me, but why the hell do they have to give NEW players the chance on getter caught up with raiding in a week while the rest who worked hard have tried for countless months? As I said in the other thread, couldn't they have just left it with the heirlooms? =/

As for all PvP ... Sucks, I hardly PvP since the original actually. Resilience concept sucks that is more than true.

The game can still be hardcore even if leveling is made easier.

Very few people play WoW because they enjoy the leveling. I detest leveling, which is why I went into scamming in the first place. I would scam 70s so I could actually play on them and, you know, have fun in the game...organizing city/capital raids, holding areas, etc. The game starts at the max level and Blizz knows it, which is why they're trying to make getting there as painless as possible.

People still have to work their asses off if they want 100% of the best arena gear though, or the best raid gear. You still have to grind for quite a while to get enough honor for a full honor set. You still have to do tons of dailies if you want enough gold for an epic mount etc.

Many people have multiple chars, and Blizzard knows it's a huge pain in the ass to torture yourself every day leveling them all. So, they're making the boring, awful part of the game smoother and faster and easier (leveling) so they can actually focus on the real game, which is the endgame.

Well, I could perhaps agree on the PvP part but on the other hand WotLK PvP is completely broken anyway.

The whole mounts thing is to help people get around faster at low levels, because face it; Walking SUCKS. Blizzard focuses mostly on what they should be: The new content in their latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. They're making it easier and easier for players to level up so that they can reach the new content. They're also making the game easier in general so that casual gamers can play it, not just the hardcore gamers willing to dedicate their time with 39 other people for an entire night (Though I have to admit, 40man Molten Core runs were always a blast). Honestly, I enjoy the game as it is right now, sure, the whole mounts thing does tick me off a little, but that's just because I went through the work of getting the gold for all my mounts at level 40, 60, 70, then 77, but the flying mount at 60 thing makes sense, Outlands SUCKS without a flying mount.

Blizzard isn't ruining Warcraft (Maybe for the more hardcore of players, or people who stubbornly stand by the Vanilla WoW experience) they're making it more friendly to casual gamers, and doing what any company does; trying to make as much money as they can.

I think they are ruining the game.
I remember the good ol times when I first started my first Night Elf Rogue.
I had so much fun playing that game and exploring new things spending hours playing the game! Now they are making it more boring with new areas, and shit that allows people to level/travel fast.
