I also think its a stupid idea with changing the lvls for mounts.
Running around on your feet till lvl 40 was annoying, but that just made it more special to get there!
Also the long leveling time will keep the small impatient kids away from Raiding which there makes the older and more mature players happier.
And whats up with the reduced XP they made at 30-69, and RAF(Recruit a Friend) is just stupid.

I think a majority of people will like update, because they don't care about trying so hard on a game just so they can feel special... You say long leveling will keep kids away, just the opposite because older people tend to have a life and a job. People are mad about this update because they have a need to feel like an elite, it's ridiculous. Don't worry if you don't like this update, I'm sure there is some way you can play for hours to get something "rare" and feel special.

I actually like WoW atm... i love to see the new patch too. I havent any 80s so maybe thats why.

I like the barbershop personally...when i was a noob and made my first character (then and still my main) I skipped past the customization tools like a dummy and got stuck with cosmetic choice i wouldn't have necessarily picked. Now i can fix it! So not all the changes the OP mentioned are terrible completely...

Personally, I sit and run around in org/dalaran all day because of the boredom of how quick I've finished everything that needs to be finished, I remember the grind from 1-60, It wasn't an "easy nor enjoyable thing" but as soon as it was done I felt some sense of accomplishment, doing premades horde v alliance premades and making friends and the god damned gold grind for the mount, wow was what It was, the funnest game I've touched, considering within 10 minutes you could learn something new and it was exciting to excel in the game and not worry about everyone else...

I miss the old WoW wish i could have wrote more but work calls, but remember, for us "hardcore" players, we'll always have a +1 hand up on all the "casual" 10 yr old children who watch OUR old material to progress in any aspect we've already conquered.

well tbh, blizz wouldnt add anything that wasnt voted in by the team or even a player. they will go on what players like. at the end of the day they want profit, therefore will change the game to what the majority of the population of the game want, now what 10 or 15 people think.

lets just hope they still stick by their rule of "no player is allowed knockback" otherwise thats when people will be really pissed off.

This is why i have decided to quit WoW and stick to scamming and such, WoW is making so many BS changes that dont need to be made surely kids bitched at them wanting them but the "Hardcore" players want it to be fair and simple we didnt ask for 60% to turn into 150% we were fine with that we didnt want 40 mounts to be obtainable at 30 we want the game to be the way it was before all this BS came in and i myself hate Lich King i think it ruined the game personally...

Uhm .. WRONG. seriously .. MMo's are spawns of RPG's (The whole point of which, are leveling).. only difference is the fact that now you can play with millions of people worldwide. However .. that is beside the point..

MMo's ARE about leveling. Isn't the whole point of every single game EVER .. to advance? To get better? Get to the next level? .. Earn a new hat? ... and above all to actually .. enjoy it? ..... Yes.

Problem is ... 90% of the world has no patience, and if you can't get to the top level in 15 mins, or beat every boss in the game first try .. then **** it.. Don't believe me ? .. try playing Monopoly with your younger sibling or nephew? .. ten Rep says it lasts 10 mins .. MAYBE.

So you can argue it all you want .. just keep in mind that it's unfair of you to say that seing the changes as negative are invalide arguments ... because some of us actually enjoy the grind. Some people actually like to EARN items and gold and treasure. it's what makes it a game imo. But alas too many kids figured out how to post on the forums, and QQ about the 1 time they died on Thaddius, and now Blizzard (Terrified to loose that kids $15 bucks a month) hand out epics like candy. In fact .. I bet if they had a van .. you would all be crammed inside it .. and thats a fact.

Also .. I would like to point out .. that tons of people put tons of work into quests, areas, mobs, and instances. And it must suck to know that 90% of you target market dosn't give a flying **** about your hard work .. they would be just as happy to have a full set of epics spawn in their bags and go on their merry way .... Deadmines (AKA:Goonies) .. DID Rock. as did all the other pre TBC content .. imo .. open your ****ing eyes, spend some time in the world .. or warcraft, and enjoy all the lore, and art there is .. Don't you get sick of every hat in Wotlk looking the same as every other hat? .. that NEVER happened in vanilla, each and every item you got, you put on, and mounted on your cross-race epic mount that you grinded your ass off for, and marched your shit up and down IF or Org as proud as ever.

Also .. the Achievement system is a joke. 95% of them are handed to you .. you don't have to do ANY work at all .. In fact .. here is what Dictionary.com has to say about the actual word.

I didn't like level, I love PvP. I'm glad that they made level easier for me 1-60 with RAF. Why? I don't PvE, all I want to do is kill people. This is also why Blizzard makes so much end-game stuff. People DO want to advance. They ARE, by getting better gear. So what if leveling takes hours of less play time. I hate missing out on so much end-game content because I'm so low. I think you missed the point... I never once said that I don't understand WHY Blizzard is doing this. All I said was that it's Unfair to say that "My" Opinion is Nul and Void, just because "Your" (other peoples) opinions are different.

And then merely pointed out that 90% of the wow population has no skill, so Blizz has to adjust for said things... I get it ... trust me.

Anyways, getting back on topic. I really liked pre-bc. The game was actually, fun. Ah well, I think they'd make more money if they have some servers dedicated to pre-bc.

We're Hardcore player will never like an new expansion as long as it change the base of wow...

Hey .. don't get me wrong.. I still play and I really enjoy it. It just saddens me that there is nothing that I can do as a hardcore player, that Joe douchebag, and his grandma can't do as well.

I remember how good it felt the day I marched around IF with my Thunderfury (On my rogue) on the Baron's Death Charger (Back then it was pure FLUKE to have) .. Dice liked me that day I guess. Least they can never take my Grand Marshal title away!
