Site info question

I've been a member of mmowned for about 2 years and have seen all of stuff happen on this site but theirs one thing bugging me that I can't find information on, people talk about moving something to elite but I'm lost, what's elite, I thought it was a special forum section but I can't find anything, please don't flame for this I was just curious since nowhere I look explains it

Ah yes its a part of the forums that is hidden to normal people who do not have elite ranking there is hidden forum for each user-group the higher up you rank the more you get to see.
