Ummm actually romis. If you was more active in retail at the time, blizz forums. You would know right before 3.0.1 pre WOTLK was launched. Blizzards response time took about not even 5 minutes to respond!

I would think this is real.
I have seen GM's in game before.
I saw a GM in goldshire spawning lunar festival launchers giving everyone lunar fest stuff (Back in 07)

First of all, seeing a GM isn't really special anymore, so I doubt he made this up.
Secondly, GMs OFTEN make one-letter typos. It happens to everyone.
