Database manager --> Logon/Character database --> accounts table OR character table.
You can't open them with a text editor(they are in MYD/MDI format which are encrypted) so you have to access the database with their credentials OR find their MySQL folder --> data and just take all the database files and setup MySQL on your computer then view the data with Navicat, HeidiSQL, etc.

Do you have control of the computer, like SVN access? if so, open their sql handler (navcat or MySQL) and find the account or character database (usually on the right of the screen) find you'r character's name, then look for the level field. It will be really hard to give yourself good items, seeing as how you would have to know what number inventory slot to put in, the item number of the gear you want, etc.)

If you give yourself gold, make sure to put the number in the format of copper. (i.e. 100 gold = 1000000 in the database.)

    hope i helped!
