Mob- tagging uestions

I have been researching about mob-tagging and found out what it is :
1. lower level attacks a higher lvl mob
2. a higher lvl near the lower lvl kills the mob
3. the lower lvl gets the xp

Now I tried this on Ursoc and i got 10k xp
Found Ursoc to be easy to kill, and soloed him...got 10k xp
Tried this on Ring of Anguish
From different mobs I got:
6k xp, 8k xp, 9 k xp
Now, I have read on these forums people that got 30k xp from this,...

When was this?
How?

What is the algorythim to calculate the Xp in such a situation?... I did research Mob-Tagging on Google and didn't find the ammount of XP it should really give, just read on these forums

They could have used the RAF method

A.) Mob tagging is illegal, blizz catches you and your screwed.
B.) XP is set to each mob, and increases / decreases based on your level. i think you get like half xp if it's a green mob, and 1.5x xp if it's a red mob.. .but not sure.
