Paypal dispute problem

First of all, idn if its in the right section..
I was trying to sell my account to someone over msn. Ofcourse i knew i could be scammed so i made a fake paypal adres, only fake info,, nothin else different.
While doin the trade over msn he had send me the money and i was already beginning with giving info, but then my dad plugged out the internet for no reason, so i dced from msn. 5 minutes later i come on again and the person went offline, i checked paypal and suddenly im 250 dollars in red..

Ive checked some other sites about how disputes go but i still have a question.
Because i have filled in wrong info in the paypal they cant search me or call me, so that would mean i dont have to pay anything back to paypal because they wont find me anyways right? or do they find me in the long way? im still getting emails once a week that paypal is still investigating and that i have to return the money on the account etc etc..

P.S i found out the person was a good scammer that had scammed ALOT of ppl before, he uses creditcard and pretends hes from america..

Stop using Paypal. Really i do mean it. The problem with Paypal is the buyer can recall the money sent as an unauthorised transaction within 90 days. Which means that you sold your account, you received the money, you handed over the account info, then here comes the bad part.

The scammer transfers your characters to a new account (all he/she needs is the accounts last name, never give them this using Paypalol , then bans the old account using hacks and recalls the money transaction. You're first move would be to recall your WoW account, problem is it's perma banned and Blizzard will not assist you as you got involved with trading their property. There is nothing you can do about the unauthorized transaction as Paypal does not cover virtual items. This means you lose out on everything, no matter how safe you THINK you are, safety isnt guaranteed with Paypal.

The best advice I can offer is when using Paypal is send them something physical..So when they recall the cash, it's theft. Call the police, they're ****ed.

Other than that, selling virtual property is too risky, you're probably screwed bro
