    Re: Choosing class?

relz he asked BETWEEN the mage and preist not anything else....anyway i think Mage is best for damage (leveling use AoE) a priest is fun as hell in pvp just MC the nice warrior have him jump in and slaughter the peeps...then after MC is done DoT him and do it agian =) lol (for leveling is kinda fast i just prefer mage)

    Re: Choosing class?

For me the best class was paladin or hunter bcoz in paladin they are great in healing and in hunter they had the great mana in killing.

Both those classes are sub-par in both of those catagories...

    Re: Choosing class?

    I'm still with warlock.

Other then that it depends your play style.
If you come to a group shadow specced and in shadow form, excpect to be looked down upon by someone.
Mages are just lawlpewpepewpwpepwwepwepwepwwpewpepwepwepwpwepw - evocation -pwewepeewpwepwepw.

    Unless you're into pvp.
Their's better, more fun classes for pvp than mages IMHO.

    Re: Choosing class?

Theres not really a "best" class. it depends on how well you can play it. I fight a mage, destroy it, fight another and lose. PvP depends on how well you can play your character. Like Enfeebleness said, if u go priest and shadow spec, the group is gonna hate u. As a priest, in PvP (raids at end game) you will end up healing most of the time anyways. So if you want to heal, go priest, and if you want to be a damage dealer, go mage.
