WoW account sale gone bad, need help

okay so, this is my situation. i sold this guy my account, we did the transaction through paypal, it was all fine and dandy for about a good month, i was going to college, didnt want wow as a distraction so i sold my account to him and uninstalled. he calls me up one day about a good months passed and hes like " my account got banned yata yata help me get it back" we did all we could, nothign can be done, and nowe he wants his money back, he tried to claim it though paypal, they denied him his claim. so now hes calling me on my cell, he also has my adress where i live, and he wants his money back. as far as legal problems should io be concerned with anything? also any general thoughts would be nice

The money is yours. If he had the account for a month it was something he did. Nothing you did. Also, if he keeps harassing you, just call the police. Tell them some guy on the internet is harassing you. Give the police his information and you'll be good.

I bet if you tell the guy who is harassing you that you are thinking about calling the cops he will leave you alone

I wouldn't worry, he's had the account for the month. Then he got it banned.

it did, you made me feel alot better, only thing i am still worried about, he does have all my info as far as my name, my adress of where i live, im guessing he has it because of paypal. he has said he will come get his money, but i mean, i sold him the account, he lost it himself, and now he wants his money

When he shows up just call the police again. I'm sure there's a multitude of charges they could get him on.

Is he even a local buyer though? If not I doubt he is going to drive too far to "get his money back".

alright cool thanks for the info, he does live about 4 states of me if you call that local like i said he has told me " i will drive to your house and get my money" which i doubt

True, I really wouldn't worry about it. I def. wouldn't be losing sleep or even be bothered. If worst comes to worst call the police and say some guy is harassing you.

haha i agree, especially with the gas price these days!
i think he's just talking big, i doubt he would really showup

he have to understand accounts are sold as it is, he have to take his risks just like you did with the payment
and plus its been a whole month =)

If they denied his claim, then you're fine.

Be happy they denied it, though. He obviously didn't file the right claim (unauthorized funds.) If they sided with him, you would have to pay all the money back.
