The GM did not do anything wrong. If you read specifically, he said that he will give the ticket to a Specialist that could give him the quest. He said that he will do this because it appears that he could not get Chief Engineer Scooty.

True, he was a little repetitive, but he was kind, polite, helped him with his issue, and fixed his issue.

Once again you come through as a great help to this cause. I do agree, WoW GM's can be a little stupid when it comes to paste text book answers. But they do have to watch what they say alot. They cannot mislead you, nor can they always help you. Alot of the times, GM's get aid from higher GM's. The GM's you are helped to are like the Automated phone machines when you call somewhere. Press 1 if you need help with this, or 2 if you speak Espanol.

Basically what it boils down to is, respect is respect, retarted or not, he is sitting in a seat your not, imo.

Hell, I'd agree with you in some cases, Skuddle. It is very easy to just become a normal entry-level GM. You don't even need a college diploma. Plus, the job pays very poorly.

But in this case, the GM really did nothing wrong.

He resolved the issue.

The screenshot that was made in that original post did not show anything that I would consider unprofessional or stupid.

They aren't idiots, they just need to stay up late at night. But seriously, "STOLEN: Smithing Tuyere and Lookouts Spyglass made me unable to accept Chief Engineer Scooty" is pretty much of a typo.
