    Druid Exploration Tip

Any good druid explorer should allready have thought of this but for those who havn't here is a little tip on how to survive bigger falls.

    1. Cat form (obviously)
    2. Use Barkskin

Just cast it, switch forms, and do the jump quick.

Pretty straight forward on what it is, but I didnt think of this for a while and it helps a lot.

**Please no flaming this is just a tip for people who havn't thought of it**

Good luck to all you druid explorers

    Re: Druid Exploration Tip

I checked wowhead and apparently barkskin doesn't reduce fall damage. Also, most druids know about cat form :P

    Re: Druid Exploration Tip

Really? It seemed to work when I did it, I took considerably less damage when I used it compaired to regular cat form falling, maybe that comment was wrong, but if not delete this post.
Also this post was about using barkskin not catform, every druid knows that cat form reduces fall damage, my main is a druid so.

    Re: Druid Exploration Tip

.... I thought cat form reduces damage and the amount of hp/armor you have effects the damage.

If you are a mage.. and you dont have feathers, cast blink just before you land, it needs timing but it works. It has saved me many many times.

Sometimes when i get nocked off my mount when flying i bubble... it became a habbit ... and when playing my rogue, i learnt the hard way:P Vanish isnt bubble :P.... *SPLAT*

    Re: Druid Exploration Tip

barkskin used to reduce fall damage, but they changed it because you could fall as high as you wanted to and still survive, because it gave you -20% damage taken. As we all know fall damage is calculated from how much HP you have, and therefore you would survive. Fixed though, catform works but doesn't make you unkillable
