Next Expansion Clue?

Blizzard is rushing patches and I think quite soon the new expansion will release as we are in patch 5.3 right now and 5.4 will be coming in a few weeks. I was just browsing through some wow threads when I noticed this npc.Andrestrasz - NPC - World of Warcraft
I have no idea about the world of warcraft lore but as far as I have read on wowhead no one really knows who this NPC is or what he is here for.
I found this very interesting and continued reading. It said he was added in patch 5.3. He is a level 5 npc. This is very strange. Why would they put in a dragon into the game that is this weak but still the normal size of any other dragon? Also, the next expansion will be the fifth, the same number as the dragons level... Can this be a hint of a new expansion, the emerald dream? Maybe Andrestrasz is, as written on wowhead, just a npc added to confuse dataminers, but I wish, oh god I wish that emerald dream would come true!

I don´t think it will be anything with Emerald Dream, somwhere back in Cata was stated (on forums or w/e) the Emerald nightmare was dealt with before Cataclysm (or right when the pre-cata events hit), in book "Stormrage".

My bet goes to the Outland and beyond, something with against Burning Legion. Or "back to the" Northend.

Yeah ive tried a lot of weird things to this, even things that are completely baceless and just seem stupid. Im really interested in where this could be going, thanks for bringing it up here so the community can give their ideas on it

Yes I know the emerald nightmare was dealt with but with MoP being such an failure, wouldn't it make sense to make a new HELL of an expansion that the players really WANT?
The new lead designer of the fifth expansion pack will also be Rob Pardo, who worked with warcraft II, Diablo II, was lead designer of Vanilla, TBC, Warcraft III, Warcraft III the frozen throne and starcraft brood war! I have a good feeling about this.

Here's a screenshot. The village didn't have a name. It was just there, at the southern-most tip of Kalimdor.

I thought it would be Burning Legion based to when i thought to myself "Will Blizzard already end it here? Kill Sargeras and end all evil?" No, they want to continue this for as long as they can, which made me look at the Emerald Dream again and yes it was dealt with in Stormrage, BUT it is not over, they found out it was Xavius, which was one of Queen Azshara's high councilors. He was chosen by the Old God N'Zoth to be his Nightmare Lord, which is the reason he was in the Dream to corrupt it. So, back to my point. Since Xavius failed N'Zoth, it would only mean that he is looking for a replacement, and since N'Zoth is the Old God that saved Azshara and her Highborn, it is most likely to be one of them (which is also why he chose Xavius in the first place). Azshara and her Naga also popped up alot during Cataclysm where we actually never got a true ending, and the raid we should have had "The Abyssal Maw". And the place Azshara (and maybe N'Zoth) is currently hidding, is in the Naga capital Nazjatar. Which is located near the maelstrom which would mean it would also include some of the Southern Islands (Zandalar (Blizz did confirm they would return) Tel Abim, Kezan, the list goes on).

So yea, i think the next exspansion will feature both The Emerald Dream and the Southern Islands. I also might be wrong, well no one knows what :P

It will at least be 7 or 8 months after 5.4 comes because with 5.4 is a whole new pvp season...

I think it will be in like 6-7 months maybe. Might come another patch and next xpac will release in winter next year though, who knows

Yea 6-7 months after the release of the 5.4 sounds like a reasonable guess, I would say next spring at the earliest

for me, the dragon is guard something (yea, with level 5 :P).. if you look at the wall behind the dragon, it looks like its something behind this wall - have maybe something to do with the raid on top behind this? i dont know much about the wow lore, so someone else can maybe tell more?^^
