    Ok this "Maelstorm Realm" doesn't not mean ED it is where the well of eternity was until Illidan corrupt it and then The Great Sundering and the 3 main continents where formed: Northrend, Eastern Kingdoms, and Kalimdor, plus the small islands every where. Now the giant storm is slowly sucking in all of the continents and eventually destroy them. Also this is where some small islands are that are now inhabited by Naga.

    lly I hope for a maelstrom expansion, but still, it is allready added 2 or more Emerald Dream zones, and no current Maelstrom zones. Also, maps of the ED zones is out, and not any from Maelstrom.

    The maelstorm is a swirling whirlpool with a giant hurricane above it with like a few little islands near by. Here is picture:

    It's an interesting thought.
    I'd love for a new expansion to explore the maelstrom, and maybe have some epic (lv90?) raid where you go into the eye to attempt to stop it?
