Hey there guys i'm having trouble getting to the pillar in netherspace because of 1 jump.
In videos people are using rocket boots xtreme + slowfall to make the jump, but i can't seem to get the 2 functioning.
Dellion showed me http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ml#post3295656 (Random Explorations) to try and get it to work but as someone mentioned a few posts earlier you have an aura that prevents using parachutes (slowfall cloaks, slowfall potions, can't prepot either).
Any ideas?

This was clarified in another exploration thread recently, you need a festive filled mug to get slowfall while using rocket boots

Horde method isnt public i believe.

Is it still possible to get into the Deeprun Tram's Aquarium as of 6.2 as a Mage?

Getting outside of the tram is as easy as ever (using the growth into ceiling method); however, I've hit an ******* when trying to glider out onto either the sand or the water itself. It seems as though the sand/water are no longer tangibly there, as I was sure I was gliding to the right area, only I kept repeatedly whiffing air like it wasn't even there.

Can anyone shed some light as to if it's still possible using this fairly old method, or if there's newer one(s) that work that a Mage can do?

Still trying to figure out a new way to get a low level alt to kezan isle to do the quests. Has anyone successfully done this or have any ideas?

The only way I'm currently aware of is as a druid; there's a video on my channel if you're interested. You might be able to pull something similar off as a mage.

I actually got there on my Mage, it just took a few deaths and spirit rezzes along the way lol.

Hey fellas, do you know of any guide that would explain how to get to Old Outlands when it was in the game files back in vanilla? THx

Are you wanting to get there on live or on a vanilla server? If you want to get there on live you'll need the adts, and you'll need to convert them to wod format. If you can do this I'd be happy to set the rest of the stuff up for you. (I just can't convert them) Alternatively, if you have a WOTLK client you could just download reznik's patch and hop on a fun server.

Old outland isn't actually there in 1.12.1 so if you're wanting to get there on Nostalrius you'll need a patch. Their anticheat detects these patches so you'll need to modify one of blizzards .mpqs

Hello, Well Im new to post on this forum mostly. But I been lurking here since the start of WoD and did my share of exploration since then. I can say I'm having a blast since WoD kinda made me feel like quiting WoW out of boredom. So exploration made it way more interesting to me.

Me and my buddy usually do it together, cause it's more fun. So I been looking to do this one exploration since a while now without success. Especially for him cause he is dying to explore it.
He wants to see the Isle of thunder that is uninstanced. The one ontop of the Townlong Steppes.

This recent video seems to say it still work but I been trying all morning to get it right only to die from fatigue several time without managing to blink trough that wall at all. I mean I been doing it like the video but without the results. This is getting frustrating and I really want to succeed and bring my friend there. He would be amazed

There is a setting that allows you to cast spells while mounted (It dismounts you obviously) that you need to have enabled to do it correctly. If you manually dismount it wont work.

I don't play wow anymore, but you can just make a macro as such:
